May 01, 2005 at 03:29 PM
Each month since September 2004 I have sent an electronic e-mail to residents of the two west London Boroughs that Ealing, Acton & Shepherd's Bush constituency covers. (You can see them here on this website).

I am going to miss seeing the latest lies from Labour after the election is over. Why do they insist on promoting what they know to be untrue? I look forward to being able to quote some of their garbage back at them in due course -
- Labour lies
April 17, 2005 at 03:33 PM
I was very disappointed to see a round-robin letter sent by Mr Blair's candidate to residents recently. This has obviously been sent out quite widely across the constituency.
- On Europe
April 11, 2005 at 03:34 PM
I have been asked why I have got nothing about Europe in my election material. Well, space and the lack of it I guess. But to make it clear where we stand - here is my summary on Europe.
- Underway...
April 05, 2005 at 03:35 PM
Across the constituency, at most of the 16 or so train and tube stations, we kicked off the Election Campaign with the excellent First 72 Hours leaflet.

March 29, 2005 at 03:36 PM

- Howard Flight
March 27, 2005 at 03:37 PM
I liked his review of Labour's effect on the economy so much that I used it earlier this year in my blog.
- Animal Welfare
March 25, 2005 at 03:38 PM
I enjoyed visiting the Ealing Animal Welfare Bazaar at the Town Hall earlier this month, where I was particularly lucky to spend a lot of time with Dr Marion from Hanwell.

- Evening Standard calls us for a win
March 15, 2005 at 03:39 PM
Okay, okay - it wasn't quite like that. But of all the - what? - 70 seats in London, one of the 8 or so mentioned for people to get back at Blair was ours.
- Going too well
March 12, 2005 at 03:40 PM

- Education, education, ... you know the rest
February 03, 2005 at 03:44 PM
Mr Blair declared in 1997 that Labour's priority for government was education, education, education. This was all talk.

January 30, 2005 at 03:52 PM
Us anti-Trammers have support in high places. Tim Yeo MP, and Conservative Transport Secretary, last week confirmed that he would do all he can to prevent the London Mayor from being able to raise the finance to complete his pet-project.
- Me on taxes again
January 26, 2005 at 03:53 PM
In his 1997 manifesto, Mr Blair promised New Labour will be wise spenders, not big spenders. And he promised that he had no plans to increase tax at all(Financial Times, 21 September 1995). All talk.
- NHS failings
January 25, 2005 at 03:54 PM
Three months ago, I briefed the Evening Standard on the pathetic situation developing in Hammersmith, whereby Doctors and Nurses are being paid to do nothing - while patients' long-planned operations were cancelled at the last minute. Last week the result of that, and many other conversations, could be seen on the front-page of the Standard.
